[Core] [Jharkhand] Subject : Internal Update # 2 (September 5 – 18, 2021) – National Coalition on Education Emergency.

Yes, I think the RTE Forum is planning to meet this month or early next
month.

We should do our best to highlight the extra-ordinary callousness of the
system in denying children their  fundamental right to education.

In Karnataka, last year itself a PIL was put in the Karnataka High Court
which took the matter quite seriously (both RTE and right to
food/nutrition under MMS). The directives of the  Court were listened to
by the Executive. (Niranjan would have details). If the CJ is sensitive,
this can be helpful.

The proposed meeting could  discuss a PIL as an immediate action as well.

regards,
Guru
