Thanks Saba,
We are creating state level groups for the 'social mobilization' efforts
- so far we have groups for Maharashtra and Jharkhand. can you lead the
one for Rajasthan. if we can identify more people/groups/organizations
in Rajasthan who are interested to take the 'resume and renew' message
(_https://educationemergency.net/2021/08/resume-and-renew-education-for-26-crore-children-hi_
<https://educationemergency.net/2021/08/resume-and-renew-education-for-26-crore-children-hi>
then we can plan a program to build greater awareness as well as
understand the local contexts better. I have had discussions with
Paras/MKSS, Nagendra Nagpal (CERP) and Rohitji on the education
emergency and we could/should build on the same.
The groups need not be only education related, it can also include
community based organizations, NGOs, workers groups all who are
concerned with the school closure and the harm for children, specially
from the marginalized groups.
thanks and regards,
Guru
