<div> Dear all<br>
<br>
I think it is better for each of us to enter
individually in the attached workbook and then mail
filled one to me and we will process it.<br>
This is because Sajitha has already configured the
'list of values' in this and that will help in the
input in a standard way and save input time. See her
mail below with detailed information<br>
<br>
You can refer Oxfam sheet which Sajitha has filled
as a reference and fill one study per sheet in same
manner. I have copied the Oxfam sheet (minus data)
to create 10 more blank sheets eagerly waiting for
your input :-)<br>
Let me know if you have any doubts/need
clarifications<br>
<br>
regards,<br>
Guru<br>

<br>
<div dir="ltr">Hi Archana and colleagues
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Here is the revised Excel file with one
example, using the Oxfam study. </div>
<div>Explanatory notes: </div>
<div>I put 13 categories , Col G (there is a
drop down menu, which is linked to the second
work sheet). I think this carries the major
issues we would want to cover,but we can add a
few more if we wish (I don't think we
shoudl exceed 15). If the study did not cover
that issue, I left ithe cell blank. </div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>In Col H, I tried to identify
sub-categories for some of the main
categories (also with a drop down menu but I
am not yet sure that they are exhaustive/
meaningful. We will have to see after we
categorize a few studies. For this example, I
have used the sub-cateogry to identify the
MAIN thing that the report talks about.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>In Col I, I have put the main findings
which relate to the Category / issue in Col
G. </div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>If this is a good working model, we can
start with this. </div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>A few other questions:</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div><b>Archana</b> - I tried to use the
Observer Research Foundation article you had
"alllotted" to me, but as it is itself a
review of several articles, it would not be
appropriate to put its "findings" in this
format. So, I suggest we use this excel file
for unique studies, not reviews of studies
For the review articles, it is probably best
to prepare a one page summary . Is that okay?
(Also, I did not find the ORF review very
illuminating, and it often used newspaper
articles to reference studies, which was
disconcerting, to say the least. Ours should
be sharper and have a clear narrative). I
will go through the ones you have suggested.<br>
</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div><b>Guru</b> - please advise what is the
best way for us to enter the studies. If we do
it directly on a Googlesheet, there will be a
problem of re-organizing the studies in some
sequence. If we each work on our separate
files to summarize the studies allocated by
Archana, can someone put them together in an
order (eg chronological or type of study)</div>
