[Core] press release on National Education Day

*Today is  * *National* *Education* *Day* (November 11)  to memorialize
the birthday of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the first Minister for
*Education* in India.

A local correspondent for TOI messaged me to ask if NCEE Has anything to
say today

I quickly drafted this release, asking for untied school grants. most of
the text is from the A Future at Stake document.

I plan to share this with the TOI and the Bengaluru Hindu, DH correspondents

Pl share comments on the release and also pl use it in your geographies.

since the budgeting exercise for next year will start soon, we need to
keep focus on the funding aspect as well.

i propose to share it by 6 pm today with local press
